Transitions are weird. What started as emotions and turned into process; a two-year conversation with myself, full of doubt and discovery. And then it’s suddenly a thing: a physical object that I can hold in my hand, and a slippery digital ghost in the machine. What was once ephemeral, conceptual even, has been frozen in amber. My inner self turned into commodity.
And then set loose on the wind to wander where it will. No longer mine it must find its own place in the world. Farewell little song cycle. I gave you what I had, you must find other minds to haunt than mine.
