Jabber

In uffish thought I stand
Some monster for to come

No blade have I
Nor strength of art
To slay or tame
This beast mine own

Galumphing forth
To fume and snatch
To claw and catch
This beast mine own

In brillig dim
He for me
And I for him
This beast mine own

Production Notes:

From my Facebook feed for June 6, 2017: “This is a PSA: Be careful, Prog can happen to you. You’re grooving along in a sort of The Who meets The Cars kinda way and then one thing leads to another and you suddenly find yourself in “Stratosfear”-era Tangerine Dream territory.”

The lyric is by Susan Mace who laid it down as a sort of challenge. Cue heroic guitar leads vs buzzy monster synths in a battle that ends right where it started, resolving nothing.
